Yoga master: "Manifest your heart's desires."
Aliya: "So... wine?"
In her new show 'Drink, Pray, Love", and fresh off a sold-out run at Edmonton Fringe, Aliya takes us on an uproarious ride peppered with healing and self-reflection, in India.
After a few days in a Scottish hospital in the middle of her debut at Edinburgh Fringe, Aliya was forced to ask herself some tough questions like, "What is the meaning of life?" and "Is it supposed to be that colour?"
She set off on a mission to find some answers at an ashram (a healing and meditation centre) in India, where she practiced with a yoga master for 37 days. She went searching for answers and returned with more questions!
Balancing comedy + life lessons + a tiny lil' existential crisis in the middle, and we got ourselves a show filled with cathartic belly laughs, leaving audiences all over the world feeling seen. Tap into the vibrations and soak in the laughter therapy.
